Your work profile

The Senior SAP PP Consultant will lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning solutions. The consultant will work closely with manufacturing, planning, procurement, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and finance teams to optimize production planning, material planning, shop floor execution, capacity planning, and manufacturing operations while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.A Senior SAP PP Consultant is expected to lead the transformation of production planning and manufacturing processes by leveraging SAP S/4HANA best practices. The role is responsible for delivering scalable, integrated, and business-focused manufacturing solutions that optimize demand planning, material planning, production execution, capacity utilization, and shop floor operations. The consultant is expected to ensure seamless integration with procurement, quality, warehouse, finance, maintenance, and sales processes while driving successful project delivery from requirements gathering through Go-Live, Hypercare, and knowledge transfer.

Key skills required

• 6–8 years of SAP PP consulting experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration experience.
• Experience in 2–3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, Greenfield, Brownfield, or Bluefield projects.
• Experience in manufacturing industries such as Automotive, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods, Industrial Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Engineering, or Process Industries is preferred.

Business Process Consulting

• Conduct business process workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Analyze current production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications.
• Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Advise clients on manufacturing transformation and production optimization initiatives.

Solution Design

• Design end-to-end production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare Solution Design Documents (SDD).
• Configure SAP PP based on business requirements.
• Design planning strategies, shop floor control, production execution, and capacity planning solutions.
• Recommend standard SAP functionality while minimizing custom developments.
