Your work profile

• Lead SAP REFX workstreams across implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration, and support engagements, ensuring successful delivery of real estate and lease management solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to real estate management, lease administration, property management, and lease accounting processes.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Configure and support Lease-In and Lease-Out Contracts, Real Estate Object Management, Contract Management, Rent and Service Charge Management, Security Deposit Management, Property Management, and Lease Accounting processes.
• Manage index-based rent adjustments, recurring postings, settlement processes, and real estate master data management activities.
• Configure and support IFRS 16 and ASC 842 lease accounting requirements, including Right-of-Use (ROU) asset accounting, lease capitalization, amortization, and lease liability calculations.
• Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and provide recommendations for process optimization and compliance improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom developments.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Lead or support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and business validation activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP REFX and SAP FICO, Asset Accounting (AA), Project Systems (PS), MM, and other related SAP modules.
• Develop business process documentation, test scripts, user manuals, and training materials.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance across project and support engagements.

Key Requirements

• 6-9 years of SAP consulting experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on SAP REFX experience.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP REFX implementation, transformation, or rollout project.
• Strong expertise in SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (REFX), Lease Administration, Lease Accounting, Contract Management, Rental Object Management, Service Charge Settlement, Security Deposits, Property Management, and Real Estate Master Data.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 16 and ASC 842 compliance requirements, including Right-of-Use (ROU) asset accounting and lease liability management.
• Experience supporting lease capitalization, amortization, recurring postings, settlement processes, and compliance reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial postings and lease accounting integration processes.
• Deep integration knowledge with SAP FICO, Asset Accounting (AA), Project Systems (PS), MM, and related SAP modules.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration, AMS, and production support engagements.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA REFX, SAP Fiori applications, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BTP, and lease reporting solutions is preferred.
• Experience in real estate transformation, lease compliance, and financial process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead client discussions, and manage complex business requirements.
• Experience working with large real estate portfolios, commercial property management, facilities management, or infrastructure organizations will be an added advantage.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• MBA (Finance), CA, CMA, CPA, Real Estate Management certification, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• SAP REFX, SAP FICO, or SAP S/4HANA certification is highly desirable.
• Exposure to IFRS 16, ASC 842, lease accounting standards, and compliance frameworks will be an added advantage.
• Experience in industries such as Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, Retail, Commercial Property Management, Facilities Management, or related sectors is preferred.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology, Agile delivery models, and global transformation programs will be an added advantage.
