Your work profile
This role leverages core audit and accounting skills to support ESG assurance and advisory engagements, including ESG data validation, governance reviews, and sustainability reporting. The position offers hands-on exposure to both assurance and advisory aspects of ESG, providing a strong foundation for a career in sustainability and non-financial reporting.
In our Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: - Post Qualification Experience of 0-2 years in Audit and Assurance, ,Internal Controls, Internal or Statutory Audit or such other similar areas, with basic knowledge of BRSR, GRI and ESG frameworks, Regulatory Reporting.
Technical Capability: You must have an excellent knowledge of auditing and accounting standards and practical exposure of working in auditing. You should be updated of ESG frameworks such as BRSR, GRI, IFRS S1 and S2. Assist in applying auditing skills to execute ESG assurance or advisory engagements.
Desired skills
• Support ESG data collection, validation, and analysis across Environmental, Social, and Governance metrics
• Assist in preparation and review of ESG, sustainability, and integrated reports
• Support ESG assurance engagements by testing data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Assist with regulatory and compliance-related ESG disclosures
• Support ESG advisory assignments, including gap assessments and maturity assessments
• Assist in evaluating governance structures, policies, and internal controls related to ESG
• Contribute to process improvements for ESG data management and reporting
• Research complex ESG-related technical issues, including climate risk disclosures, social impact metrics, and governance compliance, to provide accurate and actionable insights.
• Train, coach, and develop ESG teams to enhance their understanding of sustainability frameworks, data collection methodologies, and reporting requirements.
• Foster ownership and accountability within teams for ESG initiatives, driving continuous improvement and contributing to the firm’s ESG growth strategy.
Desired qualifications
• Qualified CA/ACCA/ B.com graduate
• Knowledge of presentation preparation.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and handling volume of data.
• Possess Ability to present point of view/ findings using MS power point/ report writing tools.
• fluency in written & verbal English.
Location and way of working.
• Base location: Mumbai
• This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
