The team

Data Technology and Analytics uses innovative tools to analyze vast amounts of data in order to proactively or reactively identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimization, risk mitigation and strategic advice for our clients. The group specializes in electronic data sourcing, optimization, analysis, interpretation, prediction and modelling.

We work as an extension of our Deloitte member firms’ analytics practices and provide dedicated support throughout the project lifecycle. Working on international assignments involving cross-border and cross-service line teams allows you to build your networks across the vast Global Deloitte network.

Your work profile

 

As a Senior Manager (Analytics & AI)  in our Data Technology and Analytics Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

 

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager to lead and scale our Data Analytics and AI practice. This role will be pivotal in driving strategy, delivery, building innovative solutions (including GenAI/ML assets), managing a high-performing team, driving operational excellence and strengthening relationships with global Deloitte member firms.

 

As a Senior Manager you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects where you will:

  • Practice Leadership: Co-lead the Analytics & AI practice, owning delivery, operations, and growth outcomes.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the delivery lead and trusted advisor for global engagements; interface with Deloitte member firms and stakeholders.
  • Innovation & Assets: Design and deploy scalable Analytics/AI/ML/GenAI solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of 40-50 professionals initially; coach, mentor, and grow future leaders.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the practice in internal and external forums, contributing to global publications, innovation sprints, and GTM efforts.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive metrics such as utilization, on-time delivery, quality

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Desired qualifications

  • 12–14 years of experience in data analytics, AI/ML, or digital transformation.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and client relationships in a global delivery context.
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools and platforms such as Python, SQL, Azure, Databricks, Power BI/Tableau, ML frameworks, and/or LLMs.
  • Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or working with global stakeholders is highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
  • Qualification in Data Science a plus, but must illustrate in-depth hands-on knowledge 

 

Skills Required

 

To be considered for the role, your competencies will cover the broad scope of analytics services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as:

  • Exposure to GenAI technologies and their business applications.
  • Experience building reusable analytics/AI accelerators or solution IPs.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, including AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • M&A lifecycle Analytics solutions

 

 

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Mumbai
  • This profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
