Job Description – Senior Consultant | Consumer Strategy & Design

About the role

We are seeking high-performing consulting professionals to lead complex engagements and drive strategic transformation for clients across consumer sectors.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead project workstreams, manage client relationships and convert strategic recommendations into executable outcomes. The role requires strong business judgment, structured problem solving and the ability to drive implementation in dynamic business environments.

Typical engagements include growth strategy, market entry, business model innovation, GTM transformation, commercial acceleration, digital transformation and large-scale business improvement programs.

Role Objective

Lead consulting engagements and client workstreams to deliver strategic recommendations and ensure successful execution with measurable business impact.

 

Your Tasks

  • Lead multiple workstreams and manage day-to-day client engagement
  • Translate business priorities into structured workplans and actionable interventions
  • Drive market assessments, opportunity identification and strategic decision-making
  • Develop implementation roadmaps, governance structures and value tracking mechanisms

·      Create clear, actionable reports and presentations with measurable KPIs for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Enable execution through PMO, change management and performance management processes
  • Facilitate executive discussions and influence senior stakeholders
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to remove execution bottlenecks
  • Manage team performance, coaching and capability building
  • Support business development, proposal creation and account growth activities
  • Build reusable consulting assets and practice knowledge

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong consulting and project leadership capability
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to connect insights with execution outcomes
  • Excellent presentation and executive communication skills
  • Experience leading implementation and transformation initiatives
  • Strong ownership, team management and problem-solving capability
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4–7 years of relevant experience in management consulting or strategy/transformation roles
  • MBA / financial qualification such as CA / CFA preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing client-facing engagements
