Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

As a MarTech Analyst (Data Engineering), you will build resilient data pipelines, tags, and integrations that power analytics, personalization, and campaign activation. You will work with GA4/Adobe data, CDPs, cloud warehouses, and APIs to ensure accurate, timely, and privacy-safe data.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for web/app events, marketing platforms, and CRM data into cloud data warehouses.

·      Implement and validate data layers, tagging specifications, and server-side tagging for GA4/Adobe/other tools.

·      Build and optimize GA4 BigQuery export datasets; implement partitioning, clustering, and cost-efficient queries.

·      Create reusable data models and marts for reporting, attribution, and activation; ensure data quality and SLAs.

·      Write unit/integration tests; implement monitoring/alerting and documentation for data jobs.

·      Work with privacy/consent frameworks to honor user choices and regional regulations in data collection and usage.

·      Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and marketers to turn requirements into robust data solutions.

 

Qualifications — Required

·      2–4+ years in data engineering/analytics engineering, preferably within MarTech/AdTech ecosystems.

·      Strong SQL and Python; comfort with Git, CI/CD, and task orchestration (Airflow/Cloud Composer/Prefect).

·      Hands-on with GA4 (including BigQuery export) and/or Adobe Analytics datasets; understanding of event schemas.

·      Experience with a major cloud warehouse (BigQuery preferred; Snowflake/Redshift acceptable).

·      Familiarity with tag management, data layers (JSON), and server-side tagging concepts.

·      Bachelor’s in Engineering/Computer Science/Statistics or equivalent.

 

Qualifications — Preferred

·      Experience with dbt (data build tool) and analytics engineering best practices.

·      Knowledge of streaming (Pub/Sub/Kafka) and real-time activation patterns.

·      Basics of consent/identity resolution and first-party data strategy.
