Position Summary
As a SEO and GBP Consultant, you will own local search strategy and operations across Google Business Profile for enterprise brands with multi-location footprints. You will drive listings accuracy, local ranking improvements, UGC/review management, and GBP analytics to impact footfall and local conversions.
Key Responsibilities
· Audit and optimize GBP listings at scale (NAP consistency, categories, attributes, products/services, photos, posts).
· Develop local SEO strategy: proximity, prominence, relevance; on-page/local signals, and citation management.
· Implement location data pipelines/feeds (APIs/ bulk upload) and governance for accurate, timely updates.
· Design review management workflows: response playbooks, escalation, and insights mining from UGC.
· Set up tracking/UTMs, GA4 integration, and dashboards for calls, directions, website clicks, and conversions.
· Monitor ranking and competitiveness; run experiments (posts/offers, Q&A, photos) and report impact.
· Partner with legal/brand/comms for compliant content and reputation management.
Qualifications — Required
Having experience in Martech, and Marketing Science.
· 3–6+ years in Local SEO/GBP for multi-location enterprises or large agencies.
· Deep understanding of GBP features, guidelines, suspensions/reinstatements, and spam/spoof mitigation.
· Hands-on with location data tools/platforms (e.g., Yext, Uberall, SOCi) and GBP APIs/bulk workflows.
· Proficiency with GA4, GSC, and local rank tracking tools; strong UTM discipline and reporting.
· Excellent written communication for public-facing review responses and client stakeholder updates.
Qualifications — Preferred
· Experience integrating GBP data with CDPs/CRMs and building incrementality tests for local activations.
· Sector experience in retail, QSR, BFSI, healthcare, or automotive.
Professional Skills & Competencies
· Operational rigor, attention to detail, crisis management, data-driven storytelling, stakeholder influence.
Tools & Technologies
Google Business Profile, GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Yext/Uberall/SOCi, local rank trackers, Sheets/Excel, basic SQL/Python (nice to have).
