Your work profile
As Assistant Manager in our Cyber Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Responder in a Security Operations Center (SOC) is a senior analyst who leads complex investigations, performs deep-dive analysis, and guides the overall incident response process. They act as the final escalation point for critical security incidents, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to identify, contain, eradicate, and recover from threats.
- Advanced Incident Response:
Leading investigations of complex security incidents, including malware outbreaks, data breaches, and advanced persistent threats.
- Deep-Dive Analysis:
Utilizing SIEM, EDR, and other security tools to analyze security events, identify malicious activity, and determine the scope of incidents.
- Containment, Eradication, and Recovery:
Implementing containment strategies, eradicating threats, and leading recovery efforts to restore systems and data.
- Threat Hunting:
Proactively searching for threats that may have evaded detection systems, using threat intelligence and advanced analysis techniques.
- Mentorship and Guidance:
Providing guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 SOC analysts, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall team performance.
- Collaboration:
Working with other teams, such as threat intelligence, forensics, and vulnerability management, to enhance the overall security posture.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Creating detailed reports on incidents, documenting lessons learned, and contributing to the development of playbooks and procedures.
- Tool Proficiency:
Demonstrating expertise in using various security tools, including SIEM, EDR, network analysis tools, and forensic tools.
- Continuous Improvement:
Evaluating and recommending improvements to SOC processes, procedures, and tools to enhance the effectiveness of incident response.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Incident Response Expertise:
Extensive experience in handling high-severity and complex security incidents.
- Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating system internals (Windows and Linux), and common attack vectors.
- Security Tools:
Proficiency in using SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), EDR (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Defender), and other security tools.
- Forensic Skills:
Experience in conducting memory, disk, and network forensics.
- Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, OSCP, or equivalent are often preferre
Location and way of working
Base location: Mumbai
Professional is required to work from client location.

Education B.E / B.Tech (Tier 1/2) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
