Job Title: Test Manager – Quality Engineering

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Test Manager to lead end-to-end Quality Engineering initiatives across complex enterprise programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on expertise in Functional, Non-Functional, Automation, and Performance Testing. This role demands the ability to drive quality transformation, scale QE delivery models, and align testing strategy with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Strategy & Governance
- Define and implement enterprise-level Test Strategy & Quality Roadmap
- Establish governance models covering SIT, UAT, Regression, NFT
- Drive Shift-Left and Shift-Right Quality Engineering practices
- Own entry/exit criteria, quality gates, and release sign-offs
- Present quality metrics to CXO stakeholders
2. Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead large cross-functional QA teams (20–100+ members)
- Manage multi-vendor and distributed delivery models
- Plan estimations, budgeting, capacity planning, and forecasting
- Drive risk-based testing and critical defect triage
- Ensure on-time release readiness across multiple tracks
3. Functional & Automation Excellence
- Oversee automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, API automation)
- Improve regression efficiency through CI/CD integration
- Establish traceability (RTM), test coverage, and quality dashboards
- Promote reusability, script optimization, and framework scalability
4. Non-Functional & Performance Engineering
- Own performance strategy (Load, Stress, Soak, Scalability testing)
- Define NFRs – TPS, concurrency, response time SLAs
- Drive observability and production monitoring alignment
- Ensure resilience, failover, and capacity validation
5. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as single point of accountability for Quality
- Engage Business, Architecture, DevOps, and Infra teams
- Lead UAT governance with business stakeholders
- Provide executive-level dashboards & reporting
6. Process & Transformation
- Implement QE maturity models (TMMi / Custom Maturity Framework)
- Drive AI-enabled testing (LLM validation, synthetic monitoring, bot testing)
- Standardize tools and eliminate redundancy
- Build Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) frameworks

Experience & Qualifications
- 10–20+ years in Quality Engineering
- Proven leadership of large-scale enterprise programs
- Experience in BFSI / Telecom / Oil & Gas preferred
- ISTQB / Agile certifications preferred
- Experience in SAP / Core Banking / CRM / Digital Channels is a plus
Education - BE/ BTech in IT / CS / E&TC / ECE
