Your work profile

• We are looking for an energetic and experienced Java Lead with strong expertise in modern Java technologies and proven leadership skills.
• The candidate must have deep understanding of banking processes and systems, as this role involves working on mission-critical applications for a leading Indian private sector bank.
• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers in delivering high-quality banking applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned with banking standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate banking requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization for financial systems.
• Implement containerization strategies and work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines in regulated environments.
• Ensure adherence to banking security guidelines, compliance norms (RBI, PCI DSS), and audit requirements.
• Conduct technical presentations and demos for clients and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions for banking workflows.

Key skills required: 

• 10–15 years of experience in Java development with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in latest Java technologies (Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Microservices).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
• Domain knowledge in Banking – Core Banking, Payments, Remittance, Trade Finance, Compliance, or Digital Channels.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, tokenization, and authentication standards used in banking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, team leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work from client locations as required.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Indian banking regulations and compliance frameworks (RBI guidelines, KYC/AML).
• Experience with API Gateways, SSO, and OAuth-based security.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with banking-grade deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related field
