The Team 

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

 

Role – Senior Consultant

Total experience - 6+ years

Preferred Location – Mumbai

Education – Bachelor's degree

Must have skills - Scrum Master, agile ceremonies, 

 

 

Scrum Master (5-8 years of experience, preferably banking domain)

  • Agile Ceremonies Management
  • Oversee scrum process and coach the team; facilitate transparency, inspection and adaptation
  • Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement
  • Support the Product Manager and team in release planning
  • Leverage sprint retrospectives to improve team performance across every sprint
  • Remove impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges, coordination w/other teams) 
  • Developing an Agile Culture
  • Guide the team and organization on how to use scrum & other Agile practices and methodologies
  • Foster close cooperation across all team members, encourage cross-training and supporting each other; Create and maintain the appropriate channels for open communication within the scrum team (e.g. tracker boards, JIRA) to create a trusting and safe team environment
  • Facilitate discussions leading to collective decision-making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team
  • Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues
  • Key Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile Development preferred with a deep understanding of agile techniques (e.g. User Stories, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc.)
  • At least 1 successfully delivered project using Scum methodology in the role as Scrum Master
  • At least 3 successfully delivered technical projects with experience in software development and/or project management
  • A relevant scrum certification would be a plus
  • Experience in the financial services domain would be a plus
