Your work profile:

• As an SAP FICO Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end SAP Finance solutions for clients in the Retail industry. You will lead functional design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with retail finance business processes, including merchandising, supply chain integration, and store operations.
• Lead SAP FICO design, configuration, and implementation activities across full project lifecycles (Explore, Realize, Deploy phases).
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, specifically in Retail Finance processes: Revenue recognition, Inventory accounting, Margin analysis (CO-PA), Drive GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Cost Controlling configurations.
• Ensure smooth integration with SAP Retail modules (MM, SD)
• Lead and support FIT/GAP analysis and solution design workshops.
• Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Coordinate with technical teams for development and testing activities.
• Support data migration, including master data and transactional data.
• Lead UAT cycles, defect management, and business sign-off processes.
• Provide go-live support and post-implementation stabilization.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team capability building.

Key skills required

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, including at least 1–2 end-to-end implementations in Retail.
• Strong experience in: Financial Accounting (FI): GL, AP, AR, AA, Controlling (CO): Cost Centers, Profit Centres, CO-PA
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of retail-specific finance processes such as:
• Inventory valuation methods
• Markdown and promotion accounting
• Store-level financial reporting
• Familiarity with integration points across SAP modules (MM, SD, Retail, POS).
• Strong understanding of business process controls and compliance.

• Distribution Center Operations
• Omnichannel Inventory Management
• Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
• Exposure to SAP Ariba, SAP EWM, SAP Fiori, or SAP MDG.
• SAP S/4HANA or SAP MM certification.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) – B.Com ( Finance), MBA ( Finance ) / B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech, or CA preferred
