Qualifications (Mandatory)

Graduation in Tourism / Travel / Hospitality/ Planning / Economics/ management or equivalent

Post-graduate in Tourism/ Management/ Planning / Economics or equivalent

Your work profile (Mandatory)

7 years of experience, including:

• 5+ years working on tourism sector projects at state/central government level.
• Policy, reform, and scheme support for 3+ projects across States/UTs in India.

JD

1. Assess feasibility of MICE, adventure, wellness, medical, film, agriculture, and heritage tourism to boost footfall and retention.

2. Support DMOs; conduct benchmarking of tourism policies, homestays, ecotourism, and identify infrastructure and incentive gaps.

3. Prepare reports on tourism schemes, budget allocations, and monitoring plans for fund utilization.

4. Develop two investible tourism projects per district every six months for private participation.

5. Achieve 5% increase in fund utilization for tourism schemes in the division.

6. Plan and participate in investment promotion activities; identify donors/partners using PPP models (DBOT, DBFOT).

7. Design dashboard requirements using socio-economic and SDG indicators for tourism fund flow analysis.

8. Identify tourism circuits (rural, spiritual, niche, eco) and assist in setting up zones with regulatory plans.

9. Monitor DPC schemes and integrate tourism interventions.

10. Support GIS mapping of tourism hotspots, base maps, and dashboard updates for accessibility.

11. Implement integrated ticketing system for tourism hotspots to analyze footfall and trends.

12. Liaise with industry bodies, Invest India, donor agencies, PPP partners, and private developers for funding and opportunities.

13. Promote private investment in targeted destinations; organize investor consultations to address sector concerns.
