As a Senior Consultant in our M&C Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
Key Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a Brand Strategist / Planner who can turn insights into sharp brand thinking and ideas into scalable strategies. This role sits at the intersection of brand, business and culture, working closely with creative, client and consulting teams to shape meaningful brand narratives and growth strategies for some of the most ambitious brands in India and beyond.
What you’ll do
- Build brand strategies grounded in consumer insights, category understanding and business objectives
- Develop positioning, brand architecture, messaging frameworks and communication strategies
- Conduct competitive analysis, cultural and trend mapping and audience segmentation
- Translate research into clear strategic narratives, frameworks and presentations
- Partner with creative, content, digital and experience teams to bring strategies to life
- Contribute to pitches, proposals and thought leadership for new business and existing clients
- Work across industries including B2B, B2C, tech, energy, financial services, lifestyle and platforms
What we’re looking for
- ~6 years of experience in brand strategy, planning, advertising, consulting or digital strategy
- Anticipates client and business needs instead of waiting for briefs
- Strong understanding of brand building, consumer behaviour and communication strategy
- Drives clarity in ambiguity and aligns stakeholders around a shared direction
- Ability to think structurally and creatively at the same time
- Proven experience in developing positioning, storytelling and go-to-market strategies
- Comfort with data, insights and qualitative research
- Holds high standards for quality, rigor and storytelling in every deliverable
- Excellent presentation and articulation skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in agency, consulting or digital-first environments
- Exposure to B2B and platform brands
- Ability to build strategic frameworks and tools, not just decks
- A strong point of view on culture, technology and brands
Location and way of working:
- Base location: Mumbai
- Education: Professional Qualification - B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA/MS
- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
