Your work profile

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Solution Manager systems.
• Manage SAP system landscapes (DEV, QA, PRD).
• Perform system copies, client administration, and transport management.
• Monitor system health, jobs, queues, background processing, and overall availability.

• Lead and support S/4HANA system conversions, upgrades, and migrations.
• Apply SAP patches, kernel upgrades, SPs, EHPs, and SPS upgrades.
• Perform Unicode conversions and OS/DB upgrades as required.
• Support SAP Readiness Check and technical migration activities.

• Monitor and tune SAP system performance (workload, memory, CPU, DB).
• Implement and maintain SAP security authorizations in collaboration with security teams.
• Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage user administration, roles, profiles, and password policies.

• Work with databases such as HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Coordinate OS-level activities with infrastructure teams.
• Manage backups, restores, DR drills, and high availability setups.

• Support SAP systems hosted on AWS, Azure, GCP, or SAP RISE environments.
• Manage hybrid and multi-cloud SAP infrastructures.

• Provide L2/L3 production support and root-cause analysis.
• Handle incidents, problems, and change management.
• Participate in cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases.
• Mentor junior Basis consultants and offshore teams.

Key Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

• 8–12+ years of SAP Basis experience.

• 5-8 years of SAP Basis experience.
• Strong experience with:
• SAP ECC and S/4HANA Basis
• SAP HANA administration
• Transport Management System (TMS)
• SAP Solution Manager
• Experience with:
• SAP upgrades and migrations
• System refreshes and copies
• SAP EarlyWatch and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows OS administration.

• SAP on Azure / AWS / GCP
• SAP RISE
• ChaRM, Focused Run
• Automation and scripting (Shell / PowerShell – advantage)

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and client-facing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working in global delivery and on-call support models.

• SAP Basis / SAP HANA / S/4HANA certification is a plus.
• Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS) are advantageous.

• Acts as a technical SME for SAP Basis.
• Drives stability, performance, and modernization initiatives.
• Supports large-scale transformation programs.
• Contributes to standards, automation, and best practices.
