The Team
Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.
As a Analyst/Consultant/Senior Consultant in our T&T Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
- Design, develop and deploy solutions using different tools, design principles and conventions.
- Configure robotics processes and objects using core workflow principles in an efficient way; ensure they are easily maintainable and easy to understand.
- Understand existing processes and facilitate change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
- Solve day to day issues arising while running robotics processes and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain proper documentation for the solutions, test procedures and scenarios during UAT and Production phase.
- Coordinate with process owners and business to understand the as-is process and design the automation process flow.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12+ years of experience in software development in the public sector.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
· Knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology.
· Experience in a variety of technologies, including but not limited to WebLogic, J2EE or WebSphere (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .Net, Oracle, DB2, MS/SQL.
· Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of object-oriented principles and techniques.
The Solution/System Architect will be responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the implementation of technology solutions across the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You will ensure the architecture is aligned with both business needs and technical requirements while ensuring seamless integration across various platforms and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Architecture:
- Develop and document detailed system architecture and solution designs that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Design scalable, high-performance systems, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.
- Work with stakeholders (business, IT, product, etc.) to define and understand the technical and functional requirements of proposed solutions.
- Select appropriate technologies and tools to meet solution requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- System Integration & Implementation:
- Design and oversee the integration of various systems and components, ensuring smooth communication and data flow between systems.
- Lead the technical design and architecture of both new projects and system upgrades.
- Ensure system components are integrated with legacy systems, third-party applications, and other platforms as necessary.
- Define and manage the necessary technical processes for implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Technical Leadership & Mentoring:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, ensuring that solution designs and architectures are implemented effectively.
- Lead and influence technical decision-making, ensuring that solutions are built with scalability, security, and performance in mind.
- Ensure best practices for coding, integration, and solution delivery are adhered to.
- Conduct regular reviews of solution designs and implementation progress to ensure they meet established standards and project goals.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Engage with clients to understand business needs, and translate them into feasible technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure they understand the impact on the business.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance:
- Identify potential risks or challenges in solution design and system integration and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure that all solutions comply with company security policies, data privacy standards, and industry regulations.
- Conduct performance and load testing of systems to ensure they meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and integration guides.
- Create comprehensive reports on system architecture, design decisions, and progress on key projects for senior management.
- Ensure that all system changes, upgrades, and implementations are well-documented and tracked for future reference.
Location and way of working:
- Base location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad
- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
