Your work profile

We are seeking a Data Modeler to support the assessment, rationalization, and modernization of DWH platforms. The role involves analyzing source systems, existing data warehouses, business rules, and transformation logic to develop enterprise-aligned data models that support migration and future-state architecture initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Analyze source systems, existing DWH, and existing data assets.
• Develop and maintain Conceptual Data Models (CDM) and Logical Data Models (LDM).
• Identify and define enterprise entities, attributes, and relationships.
• Support data model rationalization by identifying redundancies and gaps across data layers.
• Work with SMEs to understand business rules and data requirements.
• Collaborate with ETL, database, and architecture teams to validate data structures.
• Review source-to-target mappings, lineage, and transformation logic.
• Support Enterprise Data Model (EDM) development and migration initiatives.
• Prepare data dictionaries, entity catalogues, and relationship documentation.
• Participate in data model reviews and stakeholder workshops.
• Strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling.
• Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
• Develop scalable and high-performance data warehouse and data mart solutions using Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c, Exadata).
• Experience analyzing Oracle/Sybase data models and database objects.
• Understanding of data lineage, STTM, and business rule documentation.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration concepts.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Support Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, estimations, and technical decision-making.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT architectures, data warehousing, Data lakehouse concepts. 
•  Ability to lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance.  
• Experience in large-scale Data Warehouse modernization or migration projects.
• Exposure to Informatica PowerCenter and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working with Customer, Policy, Claims, or similar business domains.
• Knowledge of data governance and metadata management concepts.
• Knowledge of Customer 360
• Exposure experience with SAP IQ . Informatica PowerCenter
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development and performance tuning skills.
•  Exposure / Knowledge to near real-time Data capture tools(like CDC - Oracle Golden Gate or Qlik Replicate etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Education - B. tech / BE in Computer Science or Information Technology.
