Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM/WM Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM). The candidate should have experience in implementation, rollout, and AMS support projects, with the ability to configure and optimize procurement, inventory, and warehouse processes across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

  • Lead and support SAP MM/WM implementation, rollout, and AMS support activities.

  • Analyze business requirements and configure SAP MM and WM solutions to meet organizational needs.

  • Configure organizational structures including Company Code, Plant, Purchasing Organization, Purchasing Group, Storage Location, and Warehouse Structure.

  • Perform IMG configuration for Materials Management and Warehouse Management modules.

  • Prepare Business Blueprint, GAP Analysis, functional specifications, configuration documents, and knowledge transfer materials.

  • Configure procurement processes including Purchase Requisitions, RFQs, Quotations, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, and Invoice Verification.

  • Configure Vendor Master, Material Master, Info Records, Material Types, Bill of Materials (BOM), Account Groups, Number Ranges, Partner Functions, and related master data.

  • Configure Automatic Account Determination, Pricing Procedures, Output Determination, Message Types, Access Sequences, and Release Strategies.

  • Configure Material Requirements Planning (MRP), MRP Groups, Controllers, Plant Parameters, and Consumption-Based Planning.

  • Configure Inventory Management processes including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfers, Supplier Consignment, Subcontracting, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and Quality Inspection stock.

  • Configure movement types, stock transport orders, account determination, source lists, quota arrangements, vendor evaluation, and inventory control processes.

  • Configure Warehouse Management including warehouse structure, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, storage unit types, search strategies, put-away strategies, and picking strategies.

  • Configure Handling Unit Management, warehouse labels, packing lists, and barcode integration.

  • Support RF (Radio Frequency) transactions for warehouse operations including picking, pre-staging, stock transfers, physical inventory, and cycle counting.

  • Perform warehouse cutover activities including transport management, interim bins, user profiles, number ranges, automatic bin creation, and master data preparation.

  • Support stock transfer, scrap management, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse optimization initiatives.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, apply OSS Notes, and support debugging and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end procurement and warehouse management solutions.

  • Proactively identify business process improvements and recommend SAP best practices.

Key skills required

  • 6–8 years of overall SAP experience with strong focus on SAP MM and WM.

  • Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project, along with rollout and AMS/support engagements.

  • Experience working on at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation project.

  • Strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM).

  • Extensive experience in IMG configuration for MM and WM modules.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes including Purchase Requisitions, RFQs, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Invoice Verification, and Vendor Management.

  • Hands-on experience in Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, BOM, Material Types, Number Ranges, and Master Data Management.

  • Expertise in MRP configuration, consumption-based planning, quota arrangements, source lists, account determination, and vendor evaluation.

  • Experience configuring Inventory Management including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfers, Supplier Consignment, Subcontracting, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and Quality Inspection processes.

  • Strong experience in Warehouse Management configuration including warehouse structure, storage types, storage bins, put-away and picking strategies, Handling Unit Management, and barcode-enabled label design.

  • Hands-on experience with RF transactions for warehouse operations including picking, pre-staging, physical inventory, and cycle counting.

  • Experience with warehouse cutover activities, transport management, user profile configuration, interim bins, and auto bin creation.

  • Good understanding of stock transfer processes, scrap management, and warehouse inventory optimization.

  • Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, OSS Note implementation, and production support.

  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions and recommend process improvements.

  • Experience working in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation and support environments is preferred.
