We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). The candidate should have experience in implementation, rollout, and AMS support projects, with the ability to optimize manufacturing, production planning, and quality processes across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

• Lead and support SAP PP/QM implementation, rollout, and AMS support activities.

• Analyze business requirements and configure SAP PP and QM solutions to meet organizational needs.

• Configure and manage SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules based on business requirements.

• Define and maintain production-related master data, including Item Master attributes, production line setup, production sequences, and units per hour.

• Configure Production Planning parameters, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and production capacity planning.

• Develop and maintain master production schedules, production schedules, and work orders based on customer demand and business requirements.

• Manage production execution to ensure quality, delivery targets, and operational efficiency.

• Configure warehouse integration including raw material picking logic, backflush processing, and FIFO-based raw material consumption.

• Monitor and improve production productivity, efficiency, downtime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through data analysis.

• Configure and support production quality processes including rejection, rework, scrap management, and corrective actions.

• Configure and support Lot and Serial Number Tracking for end-to-end product traceability.

• Support labor, burden, and overhead costing for production cost management.

• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to resolve production and quality issues.

• Configure and manage Material Masters, Quality Info Records, Sampling Procedures, Inspection Methods, and other PP/QM master data.

• Design and maintain Inspection Plans and Task Lists for incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.

• Configure Quality Inspection Management (QM-IM) including inspection lots for goods receipt, production, and finished goods.

• Configure Quality Certificates (QM-CA) including Certificate of Analysis (CoA) generation and vendor quality certificates.

• Configure Quality Notifications (QM-QN) for defect tracking, customer complaints, internal deviations, and corrective actions.

• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated manufacturing and quality management solutions.

Key skills required

• 6–8 years of overall SAP experience with strong focus on SAP PP and QM.

• Hands-on experience in SAP PP/QM implementation, rollout, and AMS/support projects.

• Strong expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) configuration.

• Experience in configuring Production Planning, MRP, Capacity Planning, Production Scheduling, and Work Order Management.

• Strong knowledge of production master data including Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, and production line setup.

• Experience with warehouse integration, raw material picking logic, backflush processing, and FIFO inventory consumption.

• Expertise in production monitoring including productivity measurement, downtime analysis, OEE, and efficiency reporting.

• Hands-on experience with Lot and Serial Number Management.

• Strong understanding of production costing concepts including labor, burden, overhead, and manufacturing cost analysis.

• Experience in SAP QM master data configuration including Quality Info Records, Sampling Procedures, Inspection Methods, and Inspection Plans.

• Expertise in Quality Inspection Management (QM-IM), Quality Certificates (QM-CA), and Quality Notifications (QM-QN).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and continuous process improvement.

• Ability to identify business process improvements and recommend SAP best practices.

• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation and support environments is preferred.
