Your work profile

The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, cost control, and seamless integration with other SAP modules to support business objectives.

SAP FI – Financial Accounting

• Configure and support SAP FI components, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Configure:
• Chart of Accounts
• Company codes
• Fiscal year variants
• Posting periods and document types
• Handle:
• Automatic postings
• Taxes (GST / TDS / VAT, as applicable)
• Foreign currency valuation
• Month‑end and year‑end close activities
• Support statutory and management reporting

SAP CO – Controlling

• Configure and support SAP CO components, including:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Internal Orders
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Product Costing (CO‑PC)
• Profitability Analysis (COPA – Costing & Account‑based)
• Support:
• Budgeting and planning
• Cost allocations (assessments, distributions)
• Settlement processes
• Work closely with business controllers to optimize cost visibility and controls

Key Responsibilities

Integration & Cross‑Functional Activities

• Manage integration of FICO with:
• MM (Procure‑to‑Pay)
• SD (Order‑to‑Cash)
• PP (Production Orders and Variances)
• HR / Payroll (postings to FI)
• Analyze and resolve integration and reconciliation issues
• Collaborate with ABAP teams for:
• Enhancements
• Reports
• Forms and interfaces

Educational Qualifications: Any Bachelors
