Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Manager to lead and support SAP Finance and Controlling functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP FICO modules, finance transformation initiatives, and end-to-end business process integration, preferably within the Metals, Mining, Smelting, or Natural Resources sector.

The role will be responsible for managing SAP FICO solutions, driving process optimization, supporting business stakeholders, leading project implementations, and ensuring alignment between financial operations and ERP systems. Experience with mining operations, metal production costing, inventory valuation, supply chain integration, and statutory compliance is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FICO Leadership & Management

• Lead SAP FICO support, enhancement, and implementation activities.
• Manage day-to-day SAP Finance and Controlling operations.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Lead a team of SAP functional consultants, analysts, and support resources.
• Define SAP FICO roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.

SAP Finance (FI)

• Configure and support:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Tax Configuration
• New GL and Document Splitting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

SAP Controlling (CO)

• Configure and manage:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Material Ledger
• Transfer Pricing
• Develop cost allocation and settlement processes.
• Support management reporting and profitability analysis.

Metals & Mining Business Process Support

• Drive SAP solutions for:
• Mining operations
• Ore procurement and valuation
• Beneficiation and processing
• Smelting and refining operations
• Metal production costing
• Inventory and stockpile accounting
• Freight and logistics costing
• Support complex costing scenarios involving:
• Co-products and by-products
• Joint production processes
• Process manufacturing
• Production variances
• Material Ledger and Actual Costing

Project Delivery & Transformation

• Lead SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and migration projects.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Manage business requirement gathering, solution design, testing, training, and deployment.
• Work with global and cross-functional teams during project execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Integration Management

• Ensure seamless integration with:
• SAP MM
• SAP SD
• SAP PP
• SAP PM
• SAP QM
• SAP WM/EWM
• SAP Treasury
• SAP Ariba
• Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and interfaces.

Governance & Compliance

• Establish SAP governance processes and controls.
• Support external and internal audits.
• Ensure SOX and regulatory compliance requirements are met.
• Drive process standardization and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Experience

• 8 to 15+ years of SAP FICO experience.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
