Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development, SAP S/4HANA ABAP, and enterprise application solutions. The candidate should have experience in end-to-end implementations, rollout, and AMS support projects, with the ability to design, develop, optimize, and support complex SAP solutions while collaborating with functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Lead and support SAP ABAP development activities across implementation, rollout, and production support engagements.
• Develop custom SAP applications and enhancements to support critical enterprise business processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Analyze functional specifications and prepare detailed Technical Specification Documents (TSD).
• Develop advanced SAP S/4HANA solutions using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Design and implement SAP enhancements using User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Develop backend integrations using IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Create and maintain business forms using Adobe Forms and Smartforms.
• Develop ALV Reports, Module Pool applications, and custom ABAP programs based on business requirements.
• Perform debugging, code reviews, performance analysis, and optimization of ABAP developments.
• Use SAP performance analysis tools including Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace, Code Inspector, and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) for code quality improvement.
• Develop and optimize ABAP solutions according to SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA development best practices.
• Support data conversion activities using BAPI and BDC programs, including table control scenarios using Call Transaction and Session Methods.
• Develop and support SAP Workflow solutions based on business process requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely fixes within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge transfer materials.

Key skills required

Education-Any Bachelors

• 8+ years of overall SAP ABAP experience with strong focus on SAP ABAP development.
• Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project, rollout project, and production support engagement.
• Strong expertise in ABAP/4 and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
• Extensive experience developing RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA ABAP development including ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Hands-on experience with ALV Reports, Smartforms, Adobe Forms, Module Pool programming, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies including IDOCs, RFC, Web Services, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
• Strong experience in BAPI and BDC-based data conversion programs, including Call Transaction and Session Methods.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting.
• Experience using ABAP analysis tools including Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace (ST05), Code Inspector, and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC).
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design scalable, optimized ABAP solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA standards.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large-scale SAP implementation and support environments is preferred.
