Your work profile

The SAP PS Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Project Systems (PS) to manage project planning, execution, cost control, and reporting. The role ensures seamless integration with Finance, Procurement, and Logistics modules to support capital projects, customer projects, and internal investments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PS Configuration & Functional Responsibilities

· Configure and support SAP PS processes, including:

· Project structures (WBS elements, networks, activities)

· Milestones and scheduling

· Project budgeting and availability control

· Define and manage:

· Project profiles

· Network types and activity types

· WBS coding masks

· Support project planning and execution lifecycle:

· Cost planning

· Resource planning

· Progress tracking

· Configure and support:

· Revenue recognition (for customer projects)

· Results Analysis

· Settlement to FI / CO / Asset Accounting

Integration & Cross-Module Activities

· Manage integration of SAP PS with:

· FICO (project costing, budgeting, settlement, capitalization)

· MM (project procurement, PR/PO with account assignment)

· SD (customer projects, billing milestones)

· PP (project manufacturing, network orders)

· Support asset under construction (AuC) scenarios

· Ensure accurate postings and reconciliation across modules

Implementation & Support Activities

· Conduct business requirement workshops and fit-gap analysis

· Translate business requirements into SAP PS solutions

· Prepare:

· Functional design documents

· Configuration documentation

· Support:

· Unit testing

· Integration testing

· UAT cycles

· Assist with:

· Data migration and cutover activities

· Go-live and post-go-live stabilization

· Provide L2/L3 production support

· Train end users and create user manuals

Key skills required:

· 6+ years of experience in SAP PS configuration

· Education Any Bachelor’s/Master’s

· In-depth understanding of:

· Project planning and control

· Cost and revenue management

· Experience with:

· Budgeting and availability control

· Results Analysis and settlement

· Good knowledge of:

· Organizational structures

· Integration touchpoints with FICO, MM, SD

· Exposure to:

· SAP S/4HANA Project Systems (preferred)

· Fiori apps for Project Management (nice to have)

Soft Skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication with project managers and finance stakeholders

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

· Experience in global or multi-location project environments

· SAP PS Certification preferred
