Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). The candidate should have experience in implementation, rollout, and AMS support projects, with the ability to design, configure, and optimize end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

• Lead and support SAP SD implementation, rollout, and AMS support activities.
• Analyze business requirements and configure SAP SD solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Perform business process analysis, process redesign, and recommend SAP best practices to improve sales and distribution operations.
• Configure SAP SD organizational structures including Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, Division, Sales Area, and Shipping Point.
• Configure Sales Document Types, Delivery Document Types, Billing Document Types, Item Categories, Schedule Line Categories, and Copy Control.
• Configure pricing procedures, pricing determination, taxes, duties, condition techniques, and pricing agreements.
• Configure Order Types, Contract Types, Billing Plans (Periodic and Milestone), and Contract Management processes.
• Manage customer order processing including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Delivery Processing, Billing, and Invoice creation.
• Configure Shipping, Picking, Packing, Post Goods Issue (PGI), Consignment Processes, Customer Returns, Free of Charge Deliveries, and related logistics processes.
• Configure Customer Master, Material Master (Sales Views), Customer Material Info Records, and Partner Functions.
• Configure Output Determination, Message Control, and workflow-based customer price lists.
• Configure Debit Memo, Credit Memo, Invoice Correction, and billing integration with Financial Accounting.
• Support Bill of Materials (BOM), Variant Configuration, and complex product sales scenarios.
• Build and support complex pricing procedures using VOFM requirements and calculation routines, price lists, expiring currencies, and contract pricing agreements.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and cross-functional modules including SAP FI, MM, and PP.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely functional support.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to deliver end-to-end sales and distribution solutions.

Key skills required

• Education: Any Bachelor's or Master's degree
• 6–10 years of overall SAP experience with strong focus on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Hands-on experience in at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects along with AMS/support engagements.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD configuration, implementation, and production support.
• Cross-functional knowledge of SAP SD with SAP FI, MM, and PP integration.
• Experience using SAP implementation methodologies such as ASAP and SAP Best Practices.
• Strong business process analysis, process mapping, redesign, and solution design skills.
• Expertise in configuring Sales Orders, Contracts, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
• Hands-on experience in Pricing Procedures, Tax Determination, Duty Configuration, Condition Technique, Condition Exclusion Groups, Accounting Keys, Valuation Classes, and Item Category Determination.
• Experience configuring Customer Master, Material Master (Sales Views), Partner Functions, Customer Material Info Records, and Scheduling Agreements.
• Expertise in Delivery Processing including Shipping Point, Picking, Packing, PGI, Consignment Processing, Returns, and Free of Charge Deliveries.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Sales, Delivery, and Billing Document Types, Item Categories, Schedule Line Categories, Billing Plans, Output Determination, and Copy Control.
• Strong experience in developing and supporting complex pricing procedures using VOFM routines, pricing agreements, price lists, and currency management.
• Experience with Customer Order Management, Contract Management, Variant Configuration, Billing, and Delivery Processing.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation and support environments is preferred.
