Your work profile:

• We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI) Manager to lead SAP Finance solution delivery, business process transformation, and stakeholder engagement across enterprise-wide SAP initiatives.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in SAP Financial Accounting, proven leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, support engagements, and transformation programs.
• The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical teams, and project management functions to design and implement scalable finance solutions that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

SAP Finance Solution Leadership

• Lead the design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support of SAP FI solutions.
• Drive fit-gap analysis sessions and recommend optimal SAP standard solutions.
• Provide functional leadership across finance transformation initiatives.
• Ensure SAP solutions adhere to business, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs and strategic roadmaps.

Business Process Management

• Analyze and optimize end-to-end finance processes including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Bank Accounting
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Tax Management
• Financial Closing and Reporting
• Intercompany Accounting
• Cost Allocations
• Facilitate business workshops and process design sessions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and SAP delivery teams.
• Engage with Finance Controllers, Accounting Leads, Treasury Teams, Tax Teams, and Senior Management.
• Present solution recommendations, project status, and key risks to leadership.
• Manage client expectations and ensure successful adoption of implemented solutions.

Project Delivery & Program Management

• Lead SAP workstreams during implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including:
• SAP CO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP PS, SAP Treasury, SAP Basis,SAP Security
• Integration and Development Teams
• Ensure compliance with project governance and quality standards.

SAP Configuration & Functional Design

• Configure and review:
• Company Codes, Chart of Accounts, Fiscal Year Variants, Posting Period Variants, Document Types, Asset Accounting Structures, Bank Accounting, Automatic Account Determination, Financial Statement Versions
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, workflows, and conversions.
• Support integration design with upstream and downstream systems.

Testing & Deployment

• Lead: Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, support cutover planning and go-live activities.
• Ensure successful transition to support operations.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Lead and mentor SAP consultants and analysts.
• Review solution designs and deliverables produced by project team members.
• Drive knowledge sharing and capability development within the SAP practice.
• Support hiring, performance management, and team development initiatives.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support audit requirements and statutory reporting processes.
• Drive process standardization and SAP best practices.
• Identify and mitigate project and operational risks.

Key skills required:

• 8-12+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Experience in at least:
• 2-3 End-to-End SAP Implementations
• SAP Rollouts and Global Template Deployments
• Support and Enhancement Engagements
• Experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.

SAP FI Modules

• General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
• Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Bank Accounting, Electronic Bank Statement, Tax Configuration, Financial Closing

SAP S/4HANA Finance

• Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, Financial Closing Cockpit, Group Reporting, Central Finance (Preferred), Fiori Applications for Finance

Integration Knowledge

• Strong understanding of integration between SAP FI and:
• SAP CO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP PS, SAP Treasury & Risk Management, SAP Analytics solutions

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with automation and digital finance transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/4HANA, and reporting solutions.
• Understanding of RPA and workflow automation platforms.
• Experience working in global, multi-country environments.
