Work you’ll do

We are seeking a Model Validation Analyst with experience in model validation and a strong understanding of Model Risk Management (MRM) practices. The ideal candidate should have a foundational knowledge of Generative AI and Python for model assessment and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct model validation activities, including performance testing, benchmarking, and risk assessment.
• Ensure adherence to Model Risk Management (MRM) policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Review and challenge model assumptions, methodologies, and outputs to identify potential risks.
• Develop and implement validation techniques for assessing model robustness and accuracy.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in Generative AI and assess their implications on model validation.
• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and validation of statistical/machine learning models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, risk managers, and compliance teams, to ensure model reliability and transparency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in model validation within financial services, risk management, or related domains.
• Strong knowledge of Model Risk Management (MRM) practices and regulatory requirements.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI concepts and their applications in modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model testing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess model performance and identify potential weaknesses.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively present validation findings.
