Your work profile

In our Trade Confirmation Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

Investment Bank Middle Office (IBMO) is primarily a first line of defence control function, tasked with ensuring that the data flowing through the Barclays IB infrastructure is complete, timely and well controlled. The IBMO helps to ensure that the downstream functions, can perform their processes with as little additional data verification and cleansing. Greater than 95% of the 300 IBMO colleagues are focused on performing a set of T0/T1 controls that cover trade attributes, valuation and risk production. They also continue to provide a critical role in supporting business execution and market initiatives in what can often be a challenging and complex environment. The teams remain aligned to the respective businesses and provide support in all regions.

The IBMO is also the primary control for all transactional data quality, with specific focus on end-ofday validation and completeness checks across Barclays Investment Bank Markets prior to overnight batch processes.

The Trade Confirmations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of post-trade documentation across a diverse range of financial instruments. The analyst will be tasked with drafting trade confirmations and managing client affirmations through both manual and electronic platforms, ensuring that all trade details are correctly captured and agreed upon in a timely and compliant manner.

The individual will serve as a key point of contact between internal stakeholders—including Front Office, Legal, and Operations—and external clients, helping to mitigate operational risk and facilitate smooth trade settlement.
