Your work profile

As a Consultant/ Senior Consultant in our Oracle Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

Responsibilities:
1.    Lead a team of developers and coordinate their efforts to ensure the successful completion of projects. 

2.    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
3.    Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4.    Develop project plans, set realistic timelines, and manage resources effectively to meet project goals and deliverables.
5.    Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust software applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
6.    Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to established guidelines.
7.    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with the team to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
8.    Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.
 
Requirements:
Experience: 4+ years of experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus Or Post Graduation (MBA, PGDM), CA.

Technical Skills: 

 Oracle DBA.

• Database Management: Hands-on Oracle DBA in high-availability production environments, ensuring their stability, security, and performance.
• Data Replication and Disaster Recovery: Utilize Oracle GoldenGate to implement real-time data replication and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Performance Tuning: Apply your expertise in performance tuning and SQL optimization to enhance database efficiency and responsiveness.
• Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard to safeguard data and minimize downtime.
• Patching and Upgrades: Perform hands-on database patching, upgrades, and migrations to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
• Automation: Leverage your familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve database issues promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Work independently or as part of a team, contributing to collaborative projects and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with a focus on high-availability production environments.
• Strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and disaster recovery.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, SQL optimization, and database troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and Data Guard.
• Hands-on experience with database patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Location and way of working

• Base location: PAN India
• This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
