Your work profile

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow GRC / Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow GRC solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, Issue Management, and Vendor Risk, along with experience in workflow automation, integrations, and enterprise compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Gather, analyze, and translate business and compliance requirements into ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions

•        Configure, customize, and enhance ServiceNow GRC modules, including:

o  Risk Management

o  Policy and Compliance Management

o  Issue Management

o  Vendor / Third‑Party Risk Management

o  Audit Management (as applicable)

•        Configure risk statements, risk registers, controls, assertions, indicators, and scoring methodologies

•        Design and configure control assessments, risk assessments, issue remediation workflows, and exception management

•        Develop workflows and automation using Flow Designer for:

o  Risk and control assessments

o  Issue identification, remediation, and closure

o  Policy acknowledgments and compliance attestations

o  Configure and maintain policy lifecycle management, including policy creation, review, approval, and attestation

•        Integrate ServiceNow GRC with ITSM, ITOM, HR, and third‑party systems using REST APIs

•        Configure dashboards, reports, and KPIs for risk posture, compliance status, and executive visibility

•        Support L2/L3 production issues, including workflow failures, data inconsistencies, access issues, and performance concerns

•        Assist in instance upgrades, update set migrations, UAT, and release deployments

•        Develop and maintain technical documentation, compliance runbooks, and design artifacts

•        Ensure solutions align with regulatory frameworks (ISO, SOC, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and enterprise governance standards

•        Collaborate with risk, compliance, audit, legal, and IT stakeholders to drive platform adoption and continuous improvement

Key Skills required:

•        Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field

•        3-5  years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow GRC / IRM modules

•         Strong expertise in:

o  Risk & Control Management

o  Policy & Compliance Management

o  Issue & Exception Management

•        Hands-on experience with:

o  Flow Designer and workflow configuration

o  REST-based integrations

o  JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (as needed)

•        Deep understanding of ServiceNow IRM data model and architecture

•        Strong knowledge of risk, compliance, and governance concepts

•                  Responsible for the timely development and deployment of project tasks and may be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirement analysis and design through the development life cycle from requirements analysis and design through development and implementation and documentation.

•                  Develops technology/ implementation design documentation. provides estimates for design, build, test, and implementation tasks.

•                  Works with agile champions and release train engineers to prepare configuration for production.

•                  Involved in unit, integration and user acceptance testing- reviews test scripts, aligns with testing automation and wider strategy.

•                  Provides inputs to product owners with recommendations to drive towards clean design and shared news.

•                  Participate in a scrum ceremony and use agile principles and tools including Rally.

 

 

 

 

Preferred Skills:

•                  Working knowledge of GCP

•                  Typically has prior technology experience of system analysis/ programming.

•                  Experience writing / initiating JS utilities.

•                  Hold ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credentials.

•                  3+ years Agile experience as well as hands on Scaled Agile Framework experience.

•                  Machine learning or Generative AI knowledge is a plus, not mandatory.

•                  Exposure to Now Assist
