Your work profile

Kaiser Permanente is looking for a Services Developer with strong experience in backend service development. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, along with experience in containerization, Kubernetes, and Azure.

 Key skills required: 

• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Experience with Docker
• Good working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Experience in developing and maintaining backend services/microservices
• Good understanding of REST APIs and service integration
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build and enhance applications using Java.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure services for application deployment and integration.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field
• Spring Boot
• Express.js
• Experience with cloud-native application development
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments
