Director – Record to Report

Role Description:

A Director is responsible for leading Record to Report function, maintaining internal and client relations.

Work you will do:

You will focus on the following areas.

·      Review the financial close process, including the evaluation and interpretation of financial statements and reports required for monthly, quarterly, annual and other regulatory reporting

·      Driving operational efficiencies through providing efficient, sustainable, and technology-enabled solutions aligned with accounting and financial reporting requirements

·      Monitor SOX compliance and management reporting related to testing and efficiency of controls in place

·      Monitoring the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed measurable (KPI´s) ensuring a timely reaction to any missed KPI targets

·      Lead engagement planning; managing engagement economics, engagement risk, and engagement timeline

·      Collaborating with team to understand their challenges and identifying solutions to drive desired outcomes

·      Leading initiatives to achieve targeted efficiencies through continuous improvement and or cost optimization

·      Establishing a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external and internal parties, including customers and advisors.

·      Ensuring that external partners receive accurate and timely information

Educational Qualifications and requirements:

Required:

·      Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent)/ Master’s in accounting / Business, or Finance required, other disciplines considered with relevant experience in accounting

·      15 - 20 years of work experience in RTR

·      Experience in leading teams of 150+ colleagues and collaborating with teams across multiple geographies

·      Strong analytical and data management skills

·      Ability to handle complex situations and resolve difficult or non-routine issues/escalations

·      Strong business process documentation skills

·      Proficiency in MS office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

·      Desired work experience in various packages and tools such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, Power BI, HFM and One Stream reporting tool etc.

·      English proficiency required: written and verbal communication

Location and Work Timings:

·      Position is based in Pune and requires in-office attendance five days a week.

·      Working in various shifts as per business needs is a mandatory requirement.
