Your work profile

The Building Automation / Niagara Framework Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting building automation solutions using the Niagara Framework. The role involves integrating multiple building systems and protocols, developing Java-based Niagara components, and ensuring seamless communication across heterogeneous automation environments.

The role serves as a technical expert for BAS/BMS implementations, working closely with project teams and clients to deliver scalable and reliable automation solutions while ensuring high system performance and adherence to industry standards.

Key skills required:

• 3–4 years of overall experience in Building Automation / Industrial Automation domain
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Niagara Framework (Tridium)
• Strong understanding of Building Automation protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, KNX, etc.
• Proficiency in Java with experience in Niagara component-based development
• Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in teams
• Good understanding of system integration, device communication, and field controller configuration
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, IT) or equivalent

• Exposure to HVAC systems, BMS/EMS platforms, or smart building solutions
• Experience in commissioning or site support of automation systems
• Familiarity with IoT-based building integration or edge automation
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle in automation projects
• Certifications in Niagara Framework or BAS technologies (preferred but not mandatory)
