Work you will doThe primary role of practitioners is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.To do this, must perform the following activities within the firm:3 - 9 Years of work experience with at least one project implementation leveraging Snowflake – either migration from traditional DWHs or a fresh implementation.Be an integral part of large-scale client business development and delivery engagementsPlay an architect role to architect and design the end to end process for the data integrationIn depth knowledge of Snowflake Data Load processes – Data Loading, Bulk Loading, Snowpipe, WebInterface, Snowsight, Staged Files, Transforming Data During Load etcIn depth knowledge on Snowflake UnLoad Data Processes to S3, AzureIn depth knowledge of Snowflake Architecture – Virtual Warehouse, Monitoring Warehouse, Table Structures, Views, Materialized Views, Cloning, Hierarchical Data etcKnowledge on Integration (ETL) and Data Ingestion, Data Conversion, and Data MigrationExposure to tools like Jira, Confluence and Agile practices is key

Qualifications

Solutions Architect to design, architect and present Mainframe Modernization and Cloud Migration solutions.

Role Requirements:

• 8-14 years of experience in Mainframe Modernization Cloud Migration Legacy applications transformation & modernization
• In depth knowledge of Mainframe technology including hardware, OS, programming languages, and databases.
• Certification on any Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or Google)
• Experienced with responding to RFPs and proposals related to the technical area of expertise.
• Experience presenting to customers in online and offline mode
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors) Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
• Proven experience with migration tools e.g. BluAge, Microfocus, Rocket Software is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely on mainframe modernization and cloud migration solutions
• Design and architect the solutions to meet customer requirements.

• Conduct assessments to identify the Customer modernization needs and prepare ROMs
• Present technical topics in online, offline mode in various company and partner events
• Conduct demos on tools and solutions to Customers and Partners
• Assist with the development and review of case studies, blogs and other technical content
• Prepare technical content, scope of work and pricing estimates for RFPs

Technologies know how:

• Mainframe Hardware : zSeries (z15, z14, z13, z12EC/BC, etc.)
• Programming Languages : COBOL, JCL, REXX, .NET, VSAM, PL/1, VB, PHP, Natural, Assembler and Java.
• Databases : DB2, IMS, SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, others. IBM Software: z/OS, CICS, DB2, zVM, zLinux, IMS, IDMS, RACF ISV (Third Party Products): CA, Compuware, BMC, ASG, Monitoring and scheduling tools, etc.

Cloud Certifications : Architect-level Certifications preferred on any of
