Your work profile
Accountabilities:
Product Strategy & Vision

Define and articulate the product vision for card network offering aligned with corporate objectives and stakeholder inputs.

Develop medium- and long-term roadmaps incorporating network-specific launches, feature updates, co-brand opportunities, tokenization initiatives, etc.
Backlog Management & Prioritization

Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring features are clearly defined, well-documented, and deliverable.

Translate business and customer requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria and maintain prioritization based on business value, risk, and technical feasibility.

Apply Scrum/Agile frameworks to ensure the Agile team stays focused, efficient, and aligned with sprints and PI planning.

Lead sprint planning, review ceremonies, backlog refinement sessions. Facilitate decision-making on tradeoffs between speed, scope, and regulatory imperatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as the liaison between business units (marketing, finance, compliance), engineering, network compliance teams, card issuers/acquirers, and external partners.

Regularly provide updates, manage expectations, and coordinate cross-functional decision making.
Value Measurement & Reporting

Define and track key metrics, success factors, client and market survey for ideation fitment, market research, and competitive analysis to validate hypotheses.

Track and report KPIs to evaluate product success and areas for improvement. Present progress, risk registers and performance metrics to senior leadership with professional clarity.
Regulatory and Compliance Oversight

Ensure full compliance with regulations, especially on business card issuance, co-brand agreements, data storage policies (localization), choice of network mandates, and customer consent protocols.
Skills and requirements

5+ years of product management or product ownership experience in the payments, cards, or fintech industry and successful implementation of at least one product end to end.

Strong knowledge of card payment systems (issuance, acquiring, clearing & settlement).

Experience working with networks like Mastercard, Visa, Amex, or other scheme providers.

Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Familiarity with APIs, tokenization, fraud prevention, and digital wallets is a plus.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience: 9 to 12 years of experience in product management, product owner or similar roles.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification Agile certifications/ trainings preferred.
