Good to have - Knowledge of CI/CD, bobcat, Karate, Azure, Kubernetes
Minimum Qualifications: SQA Automation Engineer (UI + API)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum three (3) years experience in SQA, software testing or related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
• Minimum three (3) years experience in automated testing practices (e.g. QTest, Tools Selenium, Karate Framework SoapUI/ReadyAPI, DevTest, Bobcat, Mocha, Saucelabs, Perfecto, Azure Data Studio, Github Actions, Github, Jenkins and Jira etc.) and generating scripts for test automation
• Minimum one (1) year of debugging code and analytics tags in web or mobile app using Chrome developer, Charles, and other debugging tools
Job Summary: This individual contributor role is primarily responsible for performing QA testing of digital experiences on KP.org along with the responsiblities like programming, using Web Services tools, and working
with JavaScript modules. Some of the unique challenges this position will face include coding or modifying and simple JavaScript modules to be implemented across different browsers; developing, debugging, and registering Web Services tools; developing Rest API, XML-SOAP messages; and developing programs using structured programming techniques. In addition, assisting in the development of the software quality assurance test strategy and works closely with senior team members to assist in the development of software quality assurance project plans.

• Determines testing scope and approach, and collaborates with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders to review and approve the overall testing approach.
• Ensures test plans and timelines are aligned with project/program milestones.
• Leads and assists in the development of the quality assurance (QA) test project strategies, methodologies, and
standard processes for moderately to highly complex IT initiatives across multiple QA domains by analyzing business
and technology requirements to ensure testability and traceability.
• Reviews and validates testable business processes, test data, and test environment requirements.
• Defines and ensures adherence with entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards.
• Manages the development of test scenarios and execution of test cases across all testing phases (e.g., SIT,
Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
• Generates scheduled reports (e.g., test execution, defects, ad hoc reports) and provides daily test execution metrics to IT teams and management, as appropriate.
• Collaborates with cross-functional IT teams to gain buy-in and approval of test plans, and tracks quality metrics across testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
• Develops quality assurance (QA) project plans, with guidance from senior team members as appropriate, for
moderately to highly complex projects by participating in the identification of project scope, work plans, schedules,
milestones, critical paths, and ensuring proper staffing.
• Ensures quality metrics are tracked across testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production,
Validation).
Preferred Qualifications
'• Three (3) years experience working with Web Services technologies for system or software testing.
• One (1) years experience working with Mobile technologies for system or software testing.
• One (1) year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with leadership (e.g., Manager level and above)
• Three (3) years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• Two (2) years experience working with IT vendors.
• Three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s)
(SDLC).
• Two (2) years experience writing technical documentation in a software testing or quality assurance environment.
• Two (2) years experience working with integration technologies (e.g., Rest API, web services, MQ).
• Two (2) years experience working in virtual testing environments along with Mock data generation.
• Two (2) years experience working in healthcare testing environments.
• Two (2) years experience testing business systems applications.
• Two (2) years experience working with data mart/data warehousing.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or American Society for Quality (ASQ) or similar certification.
