Your work profile:

• Experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions for our WPF based desktop client.
• This role requires strong automation engineering skills, including scripting, framework design, and debugging, with the ability to quickly adapt to and leverage Test Complete. 
• While strong automation engineering fundamentals and scripting capabilities are required, experience with Test Complete and JavaScript are highly desirable.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts 
• Build scalable, maintainable automation tests for WPF application 
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines 
• Analyze test failures and determine root cause (test vs. product issues) 
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to improve test coverage 
• Identify opportunities to improve automation strategy and efficiency 

Key skills required:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong focus on automation 
• Strong programming/scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar) 
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks 
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Test Complete, Selenium, Cypress, etc.) 
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) 
• Experience with version control systems (Git) 
• Experience with Test Complete 
• Experience with desktop application automation 
• Experience with keyword-driven and data-driven testing approaches 
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills 
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices 
• Automation framework design 
• Code quality and maintainability 
• Test design (functional, regression, edge cases) 
• Root cause analysis and debugging 
• CI/CD integration 
• Collaboration and communication 
• Experience with monitoring/APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, etc.
• Good understanding of Web/API Performance Testing (REST/SOAP)
• Knowledge of SQL, Linux, and log analysis
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
