Position Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Application and Integration Architect with hands-on expertise in Enterprise Architecture (EA) tools to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure application and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning technology strategies with business objectives and driving the successful deployment of application and integration architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. 

Work You'll Do: 

In this role, you will: 

• Analyze business functional and non-functional requirements to design and implement application and integration architectures. 
• Develop integration strategies and solutions for seamless communication between diverse applications and systems. 
• Lead the deployment and configuration of EA tools (e.g., Mega Hopex, ArchiMate) to support architecture modeling and strategic planning. 
• Ensure alignment of solution architectures with TOGAF principles, IT strategy, and best practices. 
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. 
• Design and document integration workflows, APIs, and middleware solutions. 
• Drive the adoption of microservices and cloud-native application architectures using platforms like Azure or AWS. 
• Identify risks and issues in application and integration designs and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies. 
• Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for the technical teams on best practices in application and integration architectures. 
• Provide thought leadership and mentor junior architects and technical teams. 

Skills Required: 

Essential: 

• Proven expertise in application and integration architecture design and implementation. 
• Strong hands-on experience with EA tools like Mega Hopex, ArchiMate, or similar. 
• Proficiency in designing and deploying APIs, microservices, and middleware solutions. 
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure and AWS, with experience in application integration. 
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data flows, and middleware technologies (e.g., ESB, SOA). 
• Excellent knowledge of TOGAF framework and its application in designing architectures. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess trade-offs and articulate residual risks. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Experience in IT service management frameworks like ITIL. 
• Advanced certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Azure Architect, AWS Solutions Architect). 

Desirable: 

• Familiarity with compliance and security standards (e.g., ISO27001, PCI-DSS). 
• Experience in integrating EA tools with platforms like ServiceNow or Jira. 
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines. 
• Accreditations in architectural qualifications like TOGAF, SABSA, or BCS accreditation.
