Your work profile

We are looking for a Java Developer with AWS experience and 6-8 years of professional experience. You will translate customer requirements into software using an object-oriented approach and thoroughly test the software before delivery. You will work in an Agile software-development environment, participating in daily scrums, pair-programming sessions, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews while following clean-code and self-organised team practices. You will contribute to configuration, testing, release management, test-driven development, test-first development, code refactoring, profiling, and the implementation of policies relating to security, network usage, and disaster recovery.

Key skills required:

• 5+ years of IT software-development experience in a professional Java SE or Spring development environment

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, the Spring Framework, JUnit, Angular, Eclipse RCP 3.x / 4.x, HTML5, Mockito, RESTful web services, and Linux

• Hands-on experience with Apache ActiveMQ, Hibernate, JavaScript, Spring Boot, JMS, XML, JSON, and PostgreSQL

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ

• Hands-on experience with RTC Jazz, SVN, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube

• Good working experience with container concepts such as Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English

• Passion for Java programming, technology, and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Education B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Tech. / M.Sc. with a good academic record

• Knowledge of the enterprise security domain

• Knowledge of Physical Security Information Management, including access control, intrusion detection, perimeter detection, video systems, and fire systems
