Your work profile
- Own end-to-end SAP Production Planning (PP) solution design and implementation for S/4HANA or ECC
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to production, demand planning, MRP, and shop floor execution
- Configure and optimize SAP PP processes including MRP, BOM, routings, work centers, and production orders
- Lead production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and shop floor control processes
- Integrate PP with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, and PM
- Drive solution design workshops, blueprinting, and functional specifications for PP enhancements
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Assist in cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-go-live support
- Identify and resolve production-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and ensure best practices are followed
Key skills required
- Strong expertise in SAP PP processes including MRP, demand management, production orders, and capacity planning
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PP configuration and implementation projects
- Knowledge of production master data such as BOM, routing, work centers, and production versions
- Understanding of integration points with MM, SD, QM, and other SAP modules
- Experience in manufacturing environments (discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing capabilities
- SAP PP certification or S/4HANA Manufacturing certification is an added advantage
- Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) – B.Sc ( I.T), B.Sc ( Computer Science ) , B.E/B.Tech or MBA
