🧭 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Product Owner (PO) to work on key digital banking initiatives for a leading UK-based banking client. This Pune-based role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams both in India and the UK to deliver impactful digital solutions across internet and mobile banking channels.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for digital banking features (e.g., mobile banking, internet banking, self-service portals, digital onboarding).
• Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in close coordination with BAs, UX designers, and development teams.
• Prioritize backlog items based on business value, regulatory needs, and customer impact.
• Act as the bridge between the onshore stakeholders and offshore development teams.
• Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality digital features aligned with compliance and security standards.
• Work with QA and business teams to validate functionality and support UAT sign-off.
• Monitor performance KPIs and use customer feedback to guide continuous improvement.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in a Product Owner role within Agile environments.
• Strong Digital Banking domain expertise—especially across customer-facing applications such as mobile apps, online banking, and digital onboarding.
• Experience working with international clients (preferably UK financial institutions).
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and security aspects in banking.
• Proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) is a plus.

🎓 Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Agile and Product Ownership certifications preferred.
