Below is the JD for the position of Consultant for VOIS
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate product functionality against requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers to understand software requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes and updates.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of QA documentation, including test plans and reports.
- Participate in team meetings to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
- Support efforts to improve the QA process and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Essential Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Need to have good understanding of billing and rating, with at least 2 years hands on experience of testing in Telecom Billing domain
- Understanding of invoice validations and discounting concepts
- General understanding of product catalogue
- Oracle BRM (Preferred), or any Other Telecom Billing Product (Amdocs, Huawei etc.)
- Hands-on Unix
- PL/SQL
- Functional testing
- Defect triage
- Excellent defect management & tracking skills, ADO/JIRA
- Education: any Bachelors degree
Good to have skills:
Basic knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
