What should you bring along
- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in payments or financial services.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, CBPR+, SEPA, MT and MX Formats.
- Proven experience in Business Transformation and Organizational Change Management, with significant experience successfully launching large scale initiatives involving multiple business lines/enabling functions in the financial or digital domain
- Proven track record as a Change Lead, ideally for Omni channel programme or other similar digital transformation programme
- Strong experience/exposure in managing complex multi-market delivery, Change Framework and Requirements lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of Payments and the Payments external environment – regulatory, competitors, etc.
- Strong business acumen in Retail Banking with front line, customer facing experience
- Strong understanding of Change Methodology Frameworks, Agile Ways of Working methodologies and best practice techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to handle pressure in a dynamic environment with multiple initiatives and changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, manage and articulate clearly to senior executive and key stakeholders
- Ability to lead through influencing skills by engaging, motivating, driving results, and holding various teams across the programme accountable for attaining set goals and objectives
- Attentive to detail and proficient with project tracking, reports, metrics and presentations, including leveraging analytical tools associated with project management
- Proven track record in delivering payment capabilities from front to back.
- Exceptional communication, articulation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex business transformation projects.
- Experience in leading business transformation projects in payments domain
- Extensive experience in handling multiple cross functional stakeholders
- Experience in presenting the project status reports in the steering committee meetings
Key responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of payment projects aligned with business goals and timelines
• Collaborate closely with product owners, finance, compliance, and vendors to ensure smooth project progress
• Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively driving resolutions to keep projects on track
• Stay current on payment industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure our solutions remain competitive and compliant
• Communicate project status, challenges, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within project teams
• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to building project management best practices in the organization
