Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.     

Your work profile.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Intershop Back-End Technical Lead. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end solutions using the Intershop Commerce Suite. This role requires a deep understanding of Java, Intershop architecture, REST APIs, and e-commerce best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of back-end developers working on Intershop-based e-commerce solutions.

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable and high-performance back-end modules using Intershop Commerce Suite (ISM).

• Collaborate with front-end teams, business analysts, and solution architects to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, development standards, and best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

• Analyze existing systems and processes to recommend improvements and upgrades.

• Manage deployment pipelines and integration with third-party systems (e.g., CPQ, CRM).

• Ensure adherence to security standards and data protection regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise-level back-end development.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Intershop Commerce Suite (7.x / 11.x).

• Desired qualification- Bachelor's degree in engineering
