Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.
As a Analyst/Consultant/Senior Consultant in our T&T Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
- Automation Testing:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Create and optimize test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Test Planning:
- Work with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases, with a focus on automated testing.
- Provide accurate testing effort estimations.
- Test Execution and Reporting:
- Conduct automated and manual testing as needed and analyze test results to ensure software quality.
- Log and monitor defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and implement fixes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in test automation technologies and methodologies.
- Propose and drive initiatives to improve test processes and frameworks.
- Guide and mentor junior team members in best practices for automation testing using Playwright.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with cross-functional teams including product managers and developers to ensure alignment on testing goals.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 6-10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
- Expertise in Playwright for automated testing solutions.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with API testing and related tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience working with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Base location: Pune
