Playwright+ JavaScript/TypeScript Automation Testing

9-14 Years of Quality Engineering Experience- Manager

Mandatory Skills

• Hands On below tech stack
• Playwright+ JavaScript/TypeScript (Minimum 2-3 Years)
• Java Selenium BDD Cucumber
• Languages - Java and JavaScript/ TypeScript
• API Testing (Postman + Rest Assured/ with Playwright Scripts)- Contract Testing (both Manual + Automation)
• DB Testing (SQL/ Postgres SQL/ MS SQL) able to write queries and validate them.
• CI/CD Integration - Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GIT, GitLab, YAML File Configuration etc
• AGILE methodology - Active participation in Agile development cycles
• Good Knowledge of Framework - BDD/TDD/ etc. And should be able to create from scratch if needed.
• Test Management Tools -- JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM etc.
• Having 9+ Years of Experience, then Candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership quality to lead a team of Junior QE teammate and mentor them within team.

Leadership Skills

• Ability to lead and manage QE teams, including automation engineers and manual testers.
• Responsible for test strategy, automation roadmap, and quality governance across projects.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level QE team members.
• Ability to plan resource allocation, manage delivery timelines, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Architects, and Business teams.
• Experience in reviewing automation frameworks, test strategies, and code quality.
• Ability to drive automation adoption, best practices, and continuous quality improvement initiatives across teams.

Good To Have Skills

• AI/LLM Testing
• Performance Testing - JMeter etc.
• Knowledge of IoT devices and networking is a strong plus, especially in environments involving hardware-software integration and real-time data validation.
