SDET

Playwright + JavaScript/TypeScript Automation

1. Automation Expertise (Mandatory)

- Proficient in Playwright using JavaScript (Node.js)/ TypeScript for end-to-end web application testing. 

- Strong experience in API test automation through code (not Postman), leveraging Playwright/ Rest Assured for deeper integration and control. 

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts, suitable for SDET roles requiring hands-on coding is mandatory

2. Technical Proficiency (Mandatory)

- Solid programming skills in JavaScript/ TypeScript. 

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems for seamless integration and deployment. 

- Experience in DevOps environments, including: 

- Working with Docker images 

- Configuring GitLab CI/CD 

- Writing and managing YAML files 

- Familiarity with test management tools like IBM Jazz, Quality Center, JIRA or similar platforms.

 3. Quality & Process Orientation (Mandatory)

- Excellent communication and analytical skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving. 

- Proven experience in testing web-based applications across diverse domains. 

- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and modern software testing practices, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.

4. Additional Skills (Nice to Have) 

- Experience with NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) testing using tools like: K6 , Sitespeed.io

Note: This is an SDET role, so hands-on coding ability and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Simply knowing automation frameworks, tools, or technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Robot Framework, or Playwright is not sufficient. Candidates will be evaluated based on their coding and logical skills, and will be required to solve coding challenges during the technical rounds.
