Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing large-scale data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Ab Initio tools, data warehousing concepts, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE)
- Develop and maintain complex Ab Initio graphs
- Work with components such as Reformat, Join, Rollup, Scan, Partition, Sort, etc.
- Implement data integration solutions from multiple source systems
- Handle large volume data processing with performance tuning
- Work with Co>Operating System, EME, and Conduct>It
- Perform data analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and data architects
- Support production deployments and resolve performance issues
B.E/B.Tech
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Ab Initio development
- Strong hands-on experience with GDE (Graphical Development Environment)
- Experience with EME, Conduct>It, and Co>Operating System
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing
- Experience in handling large datasets and performance tuning
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server / Teradata)
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Understanding of data modeling concepts
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
- Knowledge of scheduling tools (Autosys, Control-M)
- Experience with file formats like XML, JSON, fixed-width, CSV
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Experience with data migration and modernization projects
